Digital Product & Refund Policy
Effective date: 30 September 2026
This policy applies to purchases of 81 Everyday Friction Points from Saintti Oy through 81everydayfrictions.com and the associated Shopify checkout.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Sale and Privacy Policy.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
1. Digital product
81 Everyday Friction Points is an English-language digital PDF containing 98 pages.
No physical product is supplied or shipped.
The price payable is the total price displayed in checkout before the order is submitted.
2. Digital delivery
Following successful payment, the PDF is normally delivered automatically and without undue delay using Shopify's digital-product delivery functionality.
A download or access link is sent to the email address provided during checkout.
The digital content is considered delivered when it is made available to the customer electronically.
Customers should provide a functioning email address and check spam or filtering folders if the delivery email is not visible.
If the download email does not arrive, the download link does not work, or the purchased file cannot be accessed, contact:
support@81everydayfrictions.com
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to identify the order, such as the order number and the email address used during checkout.
3. Re-downloading and access problems
Customers may use the download access made available with their order for personal use in accordance with the Terms of Sale.
Customers should retain their own copy of the downloaded PDF.
Saintti Oy does not guarantee that a particular download URL will remain hosted indefinitely unless applicable law requires continued access.
If access is unexpectedly lost or a valid download link fails, contact support@81everydayfrictions.com. Where the order can be verified, we will take reasonable steps to restore or re-deliver access where appropriate.
This does not limit any statutory right relating to non-delivery or defective digital content.
4. Immediate digital delivery
The product is intended to be delivered immediately after a successful purchase.
Before proceeding to checkout, the customer is asked to expressly request immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge the effect that beginning digital delivery may have on any applicable statutory withdrawal or cancellation right.
Saintti Oy records this consent and acknowledgement with the relevant order where the checkout flow supports doing so.
The customer also receives an electronic confirmation relating to immediate digital delivery.
5. EU and EEA withdrawal rights for digital content
Consumers in the European Union generally have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts involving electronically supplied digital content. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the withdrawal period generally begins when the contract is concluded.
For electronically supplied digital content, that right may be lost once delivery begins where all requirements of applicable law have been satisfied, including where:
- the consumer has given prior express consent for delivery to begin during the withdrawal period;
- the consumer has acknowledged that beginning delivery causes the applicable withdrawal right to be lost; and
- the trader has provided confirmation of that consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium where required.
Where those requirements have been validly satisfied and digital delivery has begun, there is no statutory change-of-mind withdrawal right to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Where valid consent or acknowledgement has not been obtained, the required confirmation has not been provided, or applicable law does not permit the right to be lost in the circumstances, the consumer's statutory withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
6. Customers outside the EU and EEA
Consumer cancellation, withdrawal and refund rights differ between countries and regions.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer right that applies to a customer under applicable law.
Where applicable law provides a right that cannot lawfully be waived or excluded, that right continues to apply regardless of anything stated in this policy.
7. Change-of-mind refund requests
After valid immediate-delivery consent has been given and delivery of the digital content has begun, Saintti Oy does not offer a separate discretionary change-of-mind refund where applicable law permits the relevant withdrawal or cancellation right to be lost.
This does not apply where:
- applicable law requires a refund or continuing withdrawal right;
- the required consent, acknowledgement or confirmation was not validly obtained or provided;
- the digital content was not properly delivered;
- the digital content is defective or does not conform to the contract; or
- another mandatory statutory remedy applies.
8. Missing or undelivered digital content
Digital content should be made available without undue delay following successful payment.
If the purchased PDF is not delivered or cannot be accessed, contact support@81everydayfrictions.com.
We will first take reasonable steps to verify the order and provide or restore access to the purchased content.
If delivery cannot be completed as required, the customer retains all remedies available under applicable mandatory law, which may include termination of the contract and a refund.
9. Defective or non-conforming digital content
Saintti Oy is responsible for supplying digital content that conforms to the contract and to the description provided before purchase as required by applicable consumer law.
If the PDF is corrupted, incomplete, materially different from what was purchased, inaccessible because of a defect attributable to the supplied content, or otherwise fails to conform to applicable legal requirements, contact:
support@81everydayfrictions.com
Please provide the order number or purchasing email address and a description of the issue so that the matter can be investigated.
Where required by applicable law, the primary remedy may be to bring the digital content into conformity or provide working access within a reasonable time and without additional cost to the customer.
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, other statutory remedies may include:
- a proportionate price reduction;
- termination of the contract;
- a full or partial refund; or
- compensation for losses where legally available.
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts those remedies.
10. Refund processing
Where Saintti Oy determines that a refund is due under applicable law or these policies, the refund will normally be issued through the payment method or payment system associated with the original transaction where reasonably possible.
Refunds will be processed without undue delay and within any mandatory deadline imposed by applicable law.
The time required for refunded funds to appear in the customer's account may also depend on the relevant bank or payment service provider.
Where an EU consumer validly exercises a statutory right of withdrawal, Saintti Oy will reimburse the payments required by applicable law without undue delay and, where the statutory 14-day reimbursement deadline applies, no later than 14 days after receiving the notice of withdrawal. Reimbursement will be made using the same means of payment used for the original transaction unless the consumer has expressly agreed otherwise, and the consumer will not incur fees as a result of the reimbursement where applicable law so requires.
11. How to make a request
For delivery problems, defects, withdrawal requests where a statutory withdrawal right remains available, or other refund-related questions, contact:
support@81everydayfrictions.com
Include, where available:
- your order number;
- the email address used for the purchase;
- a description of the issue or request; and
- any relevant information reasonably necessary to investigate the matter.
Do not send full payment-card details by email.
Requests will be assessed based on the order information, the circumstances of the request and the consumer rights applicable to the transaction.
12. Statutory withdrawal function
Where applicable law requires an electronic withdrawal function and the customer still has a statutory right of withdrawal, the required withdrawal function must be made available through the same online interface through which the contract was concluded and remain available for the period during which that withdrawal right exists.
Use of the withdrawal function does not create or restore a withdrawal right that has already been validly lost under applicable law following the beginning of digital delivery.
Customers may also contact support@81everydayfrictions.com regarding any statutory withdrawal right that remains legally available.
13. Chargebacks and payment disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Saintti Oy first if there is a problem with delivery, access, a defect or a payment.
Nothing in this policy limits any legal right a customer may have against a payment provider, credit provider or other party under applicable law.

15. Changes to this policy
Saintti Oy may update this policy for future purchases where reasonably necessary because of changes in law, services or business operations.
The policy applicable to an order is the policy in effect when that order is placed, subject to mandatory law.
Changes will not retroactively remove statutory or contractual rights relating to an order already completed.
